KTM 1290 Superduke R #1 − Bikes − Captain Tom

KTM 1290 Superduke R #1

No fifth KR. I just wanted something different. A naked bike with powerful engine and some up to date electronics. Unfortunately BMW did not offer anything for me at this time. Hence the change. I did test rides with a BMW S1000R, an Aprilia Tuono, a Triumph Speed triple and with the KTM. Then I decided for the Super Duke

Some Specs

  • Displacement 1301 cm³
  • Power 180 hps
  • ABS, Traction Control
  • On Board Computer
  • Heated handle bar grips
  • Daytime running lights, flashers and tail light in LED
  • additional power outlets for navigation, usb charging and heated clothing

And it had to come with my colors. This time in blue and white.

I modified the bike a little bit after the first year. Pictures of the first version can be found here. Below find pictures of the bike in its second year.
